Treat Yo Self- Lux Make-up
Although I've been living for drug store makeup products, the below are some of my current luxury favorites. I really enjoying mixing them into my daily routine or using them for a special occasions.
Bobbi Brown Brow Kit- Life Changing product and worth every penny. I just recently started to paint my brows and was recommended this product to try by a fabulous family member who has incredible brows. When she told me her secert weapon, I immediately got my hands on this brow kit and have loved it ever since. Design wise it's perfect for everyday and travel, plus you get two shades that can be used for your brows or a smoky eye. And did I mention it comes with a mini brow brush and tweezers! So practical!
Benefit Boi-ing Concealer (Formerly known as Benefit Erase Paste)- Whenever I'm looking for some brightening in the under eye area, I love to use Benefit's Erase Paste. I usually layer this on top of my everyday concealer and leave it on a for a minute or so to let my skin absorb the product. After "baking" for a few minutes, I spread the product via a sponge and set with powder. What I love about this product is it's ability to really cover up my dark circles with very little product, brighten my skin and do some mini color correcting.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12- Hour Blush (Risque)- There is just something about Tarte in general that I'm drawn to, so when I was hunting for a new mauve tone blush I ran to the brand. I love how this product works on my face. It always leaves me with a flushed, natural look when I wear it alone or adds a really nice pop of color on the apples of the cheeks when I layer. I also love that is color can work year round and isn't season specific.
Stila Smudge-Proof Eye Liner- True story, I struggle big time with my eye liner running all the time. Within a few hours, I have the darkest circles under my eyes but only when I don't use my Stila waterproof Liner. This stuff stays on all day and again, a little goes along way. I've worn it inside my waterline and on my eyelid for a winged looked, both lasted all day! It's a dream come true I tell you and something you should check out if you are looking for a long lasting eyeliner.
Laura Mercier Mosaic Palette- I bought this palette almost a year ago and I cannot rave more about the quality and versatility. You guys know I love products with dual purpose and this palette has been a great find for when I want a glowy eyelid or highlight. The colors work great for a shimmer light daytime eyelid or a dramatic metallic evening look. I also love to use the pink tones to highlight my cheekbones, inner eyes and Cupid's bow. It the perfect little palette for an everyday glow. Warning the palette does have a little fall out as noted in the photo, but it's so minor.
Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder (Bronzer 03)- If your looking for a great matte bronzer, look no further than the Laura Mercier Baked Powder. Even though it is matte, it does have a nice shimmer/glow quality to it which leaves your face looking natural especially when you contour. You can also use it as a transitional eyeshadow, since it's a perfect neutral tone for your base.
Mini Anastasia Lipglosses- Beautiful colors and creamy finish, that's how I would describe these lipglosses by Anastasia. Although they do have a thick texture, I love the way they stay on and wear all day. They leave my lips shiny and I also enjoy layering them with other glosses and lipsticks to create a specific look or color. The two lipglosses I picked to highlight are the two I've used the most so far from this kit: Both work perfect for daytime and can be mixed with others for a nighttime look.
